Indian Chai Tea

Experience far eastern tea indulgence with this special blend of spicy tea.


3 tsp black tea

300ml water

300ml milk

3 cardamom pods

2 cloves

cinnamon stick

1/2 tsp ginger

1/4 tsp aniseed

1 tsp cinnamon

3 tsp honey

1 tsp fennel seeds

1 tbsp honey

Cilia® Tea Filter L


To start with grind the cloves, aniseed, cardamom pods and fennel together then add the honey, ginger and cinnamon. Boil the mix of spices together with the milk and water then remove from the cooker. Hang the black tea in a Cilia® Tea Filter L into the pot to brew, remove after 3-5 minutes.

Our tip: If you don't want the spices to float in the tea then put these too in a Cilia® Tea Filter L.
