Matcha Christmas Biscuits
Green tea powder gives your Christmas biscuits a special kick
150g icing sugar / sugar
5 egg yolks
2 level tbsp Matcha Tea
Put the icing sugar, egg yolk and soft butter into a mixing bowl and mix together. Stir the matcha tea into the flour and kneed together with the mix in the bowl into a smooth dough.
Put the dough into the fridge for an hour wrapped in cling film.
Then roll out the dough, cut out the biscuits and lay on a baking tray covered with baking paper.
Tip: Sprinkle your work surface and rolling pin with flour so that the dough doesn't stick so strongly.
If you wish, dip in sugar or brush with icing afterwards
Pre-heat the oven to 180° C and bake the biscuits for about 10 minutes.
