Vegan biscuits with black tea

Fine Earl Grey tea leaves give your biscuits a very special flavour

Ingredients:

2 tbsp Earl Grey Tea

150g flour

2 heaped tbsp ground almonds

50g sugar

1 pinch of salt

100g vegetable margarine

Preparation:

Use a pestle to crush the Earl Grey tea and then kneed it together with the flour, almonds, sugar, salt and margarine into a smooth dough. Wrap the dough in cling film and put in the fridge for an hour. Then roll out the dough, cut out the biscuits and lay on a baking tray covered with baking paper.

Tip: Sprinkle your work surface and rolling pin with flour so that the dough doesn't stick so strongly.

If you wish, dip in sugar or brush with icing afterwards

Pre-heat the oven to 190° C and bake the biscuits for about  10 minutes.
