Walnut Cake with Black Tea

The flavour of the finest black tea – even when baking!


3 tsp black tea

120-150ml water

300g sugar

3 eggs

125g butter

500g flour

1 pack baking powder

1 tsp cinnamon (according to taste)

100g chopped walnuts

Cilia® Tea Filter S


Pour  boiling water onto the black tea in a Cilia® Tea Filter S (infuse for about 3-5 minutes). Then  beat the sugar and eggs; then add the tea and butter and stir in. Mix the cake batter with baking powder, flour and the chopped walnuts. Bake the batter in cake tray at 175°C for about an hour.
